Here are some tips for finding professional, awsome entertainers for your little one’s special day!

Make sure you have a look at some testimonials online, good party entertainers should have many of these available to view on their website!

Check that the enterainers are fully insured. Some halls won’t consider letting you hire their venue without seeing the entertainers public liability insurance certificate!

Ask if the entertainers are CRB checked. ( They don’t have to be, but it shows a level of professionalism if they are.)

Ask how long have they been entertaining, what happens if they are sick on the day and how many children can they entertain to?

It’s an expensive business being a childrens entertainer, I can tell you that we spend thousands of pounds every year on insurances, music licences, equipment checks, magic props etc. If your entertainer is very cheap it can only mean that, a) they are an amateur or B) they don’t have all the insurances and licences they should have. Don’t be shy in asking them about it!  If an entertainer doesn’t invest in themselves, how much will they invest into your childs special day?
